Truly DIY Installation
Installation of Swag Paper is easy enough for anyone to master. No longer will you require the time and expense of hiring outside labor to jazz up those walls of yours. Please read the simple step by step guide and watch the video below for tips on a smooth installation.
STEP 1
Clean Walls with warm water and an optional light cleaning soap. Just make sure your wall is dist/dust/grime/gunk free! Wait until fully dry to proceed to step 2. Please apply only to smooth primed and painted walls. Primed walls are preferable to paint.
STEP 2
Peel off the backing on the bottom side of each panel approximately 10-12 inches to start. Apply to directly to wall along the egde of top molding or ceiling. Continue peeling from the back as you apply pressure to the panel moving downward.
STEP 3
Each panel will have a 1" overlap. Don't stress... it's supposed to be like that. Apply next panel in the same fashion as the first overlapping until the pattern matches up seamlessly. You can choose to leave as is, or double cut for a perfect butt seam.
